I don't love OB either. I jump at every opportunity that comes up though, just to get the experience - removing staples, removing IV's, etc. They're not huge skills, but it's better than being bored. I also try to brush up on my assessment skills while I'm there, and I take my findings and look back at what's been going on with the patient just for something to do. Make the best of it, and move on.
