How to get accepted into University of Detroit Mercy

What is the gpa you need to get into this school? What if you have a C in one of your prerequisites do they still accept you?

I believe you need a 3.0 total GPA--not sure if that is your undergrad or just your required pre-req's. I got accepted for May 2010 and had a 3.89 undergrad and have gotten 4.0's in sciences but in the courses they are looking at for Math I had a 3.0 and Eng Comp just a 3.0 and the rest were 4.0. I believe they weigh heavily on your science pre-req's and so far I have had 4.0 but these were taken at community college.

Back when I started it was a 2.8 but have since gone up to a 3.0 plus a composite score of 75 on the NET. When transfering grades as long as it is a C or better they will accept it. I transferred a C or two when I came and I got right in.

If the rest of your grades are good, the C shouldn't ding you - but have a good reason for it and explain it; otherwise I would recommend retaking it to get the A.

I don't know how the program is. My comment about the grade would be the same for any school; any program. But I'm interested too so if anyone is in the program right now... please take a few minutes from your busy schedule to fill us in on how it's going. :) Thanks.
