How to find best School nurse employer in California?

Hi all!

I'm switching nursing fields from inpatient to school nursing in the Bay Area

in California. I wanted some advice on where to search for the best jobs, elementary school system, and/or the best School nurse agency. It seems like there are agencies helping school districts hire RN school nurses, but is there another route that's more reliable? Also I'm curious if another nurse can share pay rates in the Bay Area and describe their typical nursing day as well as pro's and con's. Thanks so much for your help!
