How to figure out VTBI?!!!

Updated:   Published

I know there are a lot of posts on this, but I still don't get it.

Let's say I have an order for 100ml NS in 8 hrs. That's 800ml. If you're using a 1000ml bag, you would set the VTBI to 750ml not 1000ml, correct?

Thanks all for the clarification.

Sorry, it just sounded condescending. Along with the person who said "have you ever worked in a kitchen."

No, the person who said that was being encouraging and trying to get you to see that you CAN do this because it's as simple as kitchen math but seems much harder with all the other details. If you respond rudely people won't want to help you. Saying you're sorry with a qualifier is a lot like not being sorry at all. We like helping students but not if we are going to get snotty responses. And, no, I'm not being condescending. You might not like what I'm saying but if you want to get the most out of this site it's best to refrain from biting the hands that feed you.
