How far would you drive?

Im going to apply to glendale community college because they have a weekend/night program. BUTTTTT i live in ahwatukee...do any of you drive far for your school? Gateway is closer and will be my first choice but glendale after....thoughts?

I'm in southeast Gilbert, pretty close to the CGCC nursing campus but I chose to go to MCC because of the reputation, experiences of my friends, and NCLEX pass rates. I've lucked out with clinicals and been in Gilbert/east Mesa for all of them. I'm in block 3 and going to PCH for peds in a few weeks but that's the farthest I've had to drive. We are lucky and get a choice of several hospitals. I'd do it if it's worth it to you! Good luck!

I would seriously think about it. I drove from the area around San Tan Village in Gilbert to SCC during my time in nursing school. It seemed like fate threw in an extra hurdle when they decided to rip up the 101 freeway and begin what has turned out to be 2 years of constant construction right when I started. I just know it was so annoying when I would have to drive to school just for a 1 hour long requirement like a lab checkoff, or a quick exam. You really have to think about that. But you do what you have to in order to get that degree! We had a classmate that lived in FLAGSTAFF! And you may have classmates that also happen to live in Ahwatukee and you could car-pool.

wow flagstaff!! thats so crazy! I guess the furthest i would be driving would be to glendale which is not too bad when ill actually already be off 12th st and mcdowell anyways for work at 230 and then id just head to class that would start at 5
