First off: I would get a thorough physical to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with you.
Then, if you are cleared medically:

I think for people like me, learning to deal with anxiety is a lifelong process. I have always been this way and I have tried meds but I ultimately decided I did not want to be pill dependent. I struggle a lot but I think maturity and experience have helped me a lot. I hope you find your groove!

I wake up early in the am and do some Yoga or have some mint tea or listen to music. Just something to relax yourself. Do something that puts you in a positive place so that you start your day with a smile instead of dreading the day.

I drink. j/k
Actually, I get up early and run a few miles before class. It works wonders to clear my head, reduce stress, and help me sleep at night.

I know so many people who have felt similar levels of anxiety in nursing school. I think I appear more anxious than some and perhaps tend to put other students at ease about revealing just how deep their own fears and go. For me because I have had to anticipate a certain level of performance anxiety where clinicals are concerned I have found practicing skills over and over to be helpful. In addition I think it would be a step in a healthy direction to work towards beginning to create a more safe atmosphere where expressing fears are not seen as somehow weak but instead healthy and human. Just a little bit more authenticity in the mix about anxiety I think could go a long way toward ameliorating it.
