How do CEU websites work?

Published

I am looking at http://www.myfreece.com specifically and would like to know how exactly this works. Do they send you an actual hard copy of the certificates you complete? If not then how do you prove to the BON that you have completed the courses?

At the end of completing a test, the website will usually allow you to print out a certification of completion with the ce providers # that is required by your BON and your own name and license number.

Be careful with these sites because not all of them are good for all states that require ce's for license renewal.

In many states, MEDCEU is no longer allowed to use for your CEU's due to their practice of continued billing after you discontinue service. Happened to me... I read up on that in my state's nursing newsletter. If you want to know good vs. bad, call your State Board of Nursing and ask for suggestions... Good luck...

Thanks guys!! I got the address off my states BON website, so hopefully I will be okay.

I use MedScape.com and this is how they do it also. Usually all of theirs is free.
