You do not have a CA license as they will not issue one without a US SSN. All you can do is wait until in the US with a valid work/immigrant visa and then apply for a US SSN and then a CA license

You should know that you'll have 8 years to get your CA license issued or else, you'll have to retake the NCLEX again. This is going to be a major problem coming up in the years ahead for the thousands of PH nurses who are in the same situation as you.
This applies to those that applied in 2005 onwards. My good friend's older sister took and passed the NCLEX in CA without a SS# back in 2006, CA BRN will not issue the license till she can provide them with a valid SS# (the one that allows to work, not to drive a car or for ID purposes, which can be obtained, but it says on the front "Not for work").
She not only has to provide the CA BRN with the SS#, but she has to take the required 30 hours of approved nursing continuing education units. This is a REQUIREMENT for ALL CA nurses, local or international (since July 1978). These educational units must be approved by the CA BRN, you need to provide them with the contact hours and proof, the license will NOT be renewed till then.
I know that we will start to see these very same questions will be asked over and over again, as the many PH nurses of the previous years are going to be finding out they will be stuck on what to do as they will find out as they approach their 8th year from the time of their passing of the NCLEX date/year.
This is a CA BRN requirement to re-take the NCLEX if one lets the CA license lapse after 8 years, she told me it's all on the CA BRN website under the "renewal" instructions or the "lapsed" sections. It's all spelled out there.
Memo: here I decided to post up the application:

Here's the application for the 8th year RETAKE of the NCLEX:

To get to your question on a suggestion on getting a SS#....marry a US citizen or one with the proper visa, lol. It's not going to happen overnight in either cases and there are all kinds of conditions, contact a good immigration lawyer.
Thank you very much for your replies.. appreciate it :) Godbless!
i should have renewed it last Sept 2012..but until now i wasn't able to do so..
