Hi, my name is Chris and my girlfriend's name is Kristine...
Right now she is in instensive review for her board exams to be a nurse. She is doing this in the Philippines. She is from the Philippines.
I'm trying to find a way for her to become a nurse in Colorado. We will be married, of coorifice- so she will have citizenship.
I need to know if she can do an internship in Colordo or if she has to do it somewhere else before she can come to America.
I also need to know who she needs to talk to (organization) to get started with the process for becoming cerified in America/Colorado
What kind of expense will she be looking at for American/Colorado certification and how long will it take before she can become an official nurse...

Check out the international forum, esp the "Primer for foreign nurses wanting to work in US" thread by Suzanne4, which has most of this info in there. In a nutshell, she does not have to do anything in the Phillipines except finish school. She can then start the process to obtain US licensure.
