Hi guys any kababayan here who successfully landed in Singapore as a RN? Please share your experience on how to go with the process...This country is getting us poorer...

I will work as a staff nurse. Because i have more than 3 years experience as a staff nurse. During our interview there were applicants for enrolled nurses too. They also have their separate exam.
There were no male applicants during our time. I have no idea why. I guess the hospital that we were applying for prefers females. I have male coworkers in my previous hospital here in Cebu city that are now in Singapore and working as a staff nurse. I'm just not sure with enrolled nurses. The best way is to ask agencies. It's really better to apply via an agency.
Good luck! ?

You are right. I've heard that enrolled nurses there have less work pressure but they are paid less. ?
Hi there! I'm new on this thread and I need advice from my fellow nurses.
I am a specialty nurse (cathlab nurse-technician) in a 150 bed capacity hospital here in the Philippines for 3 years, and when I called up the agency if I can apply as a staff nurse they told me I'm not qualified because the hospital is only 150 bed capacity. I can apply as an enrolled nurse instead.
My question is: can I still take the Singaporean board exam even with this situation? I am truly a registered nurse and my work experience in the hospital is valid. Or should I apply first as an enrolled nurse then I take the board exam?
Thank you so much! Your replies will take me one step closer to my path as a nurse abroad.

Hello! There is also an exam for enrolled nurses. It's a different exam from the staff nurses but still it's under the Singaporean Board of Nursing. ?
Hi fellow nurses, I am new here. I kinda have a situation right now. My mom is pushing me to go to Singapore and try my luck. What are my possible opportunities there? I know I am not yet qualified to apply for a license in Singapore because I only have 1 year experience... I mean if I choose not to practice nursing there yet but find other jobs like caregiver, what are the things that I should do if later on I want to apply for a license there and work as a nurse? I need your opinion friends. You can be brutally honest to me because I'm kinda confused. hehehe God bless!=)
I'm a cathlab nurse here in SG. For anybody who wants to take the SNB licensure, you MUST be endorsed by a hospital here. Any one who wishes to apply can go to the different HR personally or better yet through internet. Just to remind you, all the latest are here but cost of living is really COSTLY!!!!
I'm a RN here in the Philippines and I am planning to go to Singapore as a tourist & try my luck to apply to some of the hospitals there. I've worked here for 2 years as a nurse. I need your advice to all my fellow nurses if going to Singapore as a tourist is a better option rather than going to an agency. Thanks!
