Hi there!! I recently visited the Monticello area on Sullivan County and fell in love with the area. Walked to the local Regional Medical Center and into the Human Resources office. To my surprise, when I told them that I was an RN with most of my professional experience in the ER, they wanted to recruit me right on the spot. Although I never expected to apply for a job, much less moved into the area, I decided that a change would be fine. Now, here's the catch, the HR lady said that I needed the NY licensure, I got my permanent license from outside the continental US (PR). So, I was wondering if anyone can help me by telling me the process I must follow to get the NY licensure. I'll really appreciate any info.

requirements are found on the NY BON website (link can be found at the bottom of the page) depending where will depend on whether the BON will require you to go through CVS which is required if trained outside the US however if in a US territory it may be different. Any doubts would suggest you check with the BON
