How to apply for NY endorsement?

hello everyone. I am a new grad nurse currently living in NJ. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about applying for endorsement in NY. Do i have to fill out a licensure application? The same one I had to fill out for my original license in NJ but for the NYBON? Please help!

Have you taken and passed NCLEX with a license issued? If yes then you just need to complete forms for endorsement on NY BON website

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Yes i have my NJ license already. I also went to the site where you supposedly find the application but couldn't find anything. I have no clue what to do.

As I read NY BON then yes you need to complete the licensure application, pass verification form to NJ and they forward it or use Nursey plus meet other requirements like child abuse course. This may explain more http://www.op.nysed.gov/applicationbooks/NursingApplicationPacket-October07.pdf
