Houston Winter 2019 Nurse Residency Programs

Just wanted to provide a place for updates for the December grads for nurse residency programs in Houston! Coming from out of state I definitely don't want to miss anything! So far I've applied to Methodist and Harris Health. Still waiting for Memorial's, Chi St. Luke's, and HCA's to open. Does anyone have suggestions of other places to apply? Looking for adult critical care or intermediate positions.

I got an invite from Memorial Hermann yesterday to interview with them on Match Day! So excited! Anyone else get an invite??

Thank you! My first choice is NICU at Children's. What about you? Did you get an invite as well?

I got a call this past Friday to find out if I was still interested in the residency program at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. I completed the tuition repayment form, questionnaire, and behavioral assessment yesterday. Hopefully I will get invited to Match Day October 23.

The one that talks about the tuition contract of 5,000 prorated over 24 months.

I never received that. Was there a deadline on it? I'll probably have to call my recruiter.

It was for the Memorial Hermann Residency program. It was sent along with a questionnaire. I just received the call and email this past Friday and my assessments still need to be reviewed by the Education team before they decide to invite me to Match Day.

Has anyone received any updates as of today on any of the previous hospitals mentioned?? The waiting game is crazy..
