Houston Winter 2019 Nurse Residency Programs

Just wanted to provide a place for updates for the December grads for nurse residency programs in Houston! Coming from out of state I definitely don't want to miss anything! So far I've applied to Methodist and Harris Health. Still waiting for Memorial's, Chi St. Luke's, and HCA's to open. Does anyone have suggestions of other places to apply? Looking for adult critical care or intermediate positions.

Hey can anyone tell me how they're interview for methodist went. Was it one to one or multiple individuals.

I received a phone call from the recruiter at Methodist Baytown on 11/1 for the second interview. Has anyone gone to the second interview for Houston Methodist yet? Specifically the Sugarland? Would you mind to share? Thanks

Congrats on getting the second interview with Methodist Baytown ! Do you mind if I ask what unit it is for? I'm waiting to hear back from the unit I interviewed with during the pre screening.

I interviews on 11/1 and received an offer the next day. It seems to be dependent on the unit though and when they scheduled their interviews but they told me when I was there they'd call the next day either way. So I don't think it hurts to ask when you go!

I interviewed for medsurg on Monday. It was panel style with staff so I've just been getting anxious. I felt it went well so I'll see. I remember the prescreening people had told the managers they can make an offer now or wait so it's up to them.

I received an interview from St. Luke's. It looks like they will be interviewing 36 people on November 30th.
