Houston Winter 2019 Nurse Residency Programs

Just wanted to provide a place for updates for the December grads for nurse residency programs in Houston! Coming from out of state I definitely don't want to miss anything! So far I've applied to Methodist and Harris Health. Still waiting for Memorial's, Chi St. Luke's, and HCA's to open. Does anyone have suggestions of other places to apply? Looking for adult critical care or intermediate positions.

I never got a rejection either someone said they started doing rejections last week. They said they would reply in one to weeks but still no reply

Methodist sugarland already did interviews. Methodist TMC hasnt they said give 2 to 3 weeks

Has anyone who attended the HCA Hiring Event heard anything back yet? I know its a bit soon but just wanted to see.

When did hca have a hiring event. I submitted my application but was only sent an email about my top two choices

Hiring Event was this Monday 10/22. I received an email with RSVP and info on 10/12

I received an email on the 19th about my top two choices but didnt get the RSVP they said they're are going in order of applications because one of my friends got the same email I got

The recruiter also told me that they'd contact people who didn't attend about 2-3 weeks after the hiring event to start interviewing for spots they had left to fill. Hopefully you will hear from them then!

Has anyone gotten any offers from MH sugar land they said by the end of this week which in assuming is Friday for them

Anyone knows that we still receive the rejection letter if we didnt get an offer right? Or we only receive email if we got offer?

Yes! Interviewed at TCH on Tuesday. They sent out rejections last week for if you got an interview or not. They had the virtual open house last Friday, then held interviews this week.

I'm still waiting to hear back for Methodist for second interviews from the pre-screening interviews.

What unit did you interview for at TCH? Congrats on getting the interview and good luck!
