Specializes in Oncology/BMT/ MICU/ SICU.

I'm relocating to Houston when I graduate in December 2006.

I'm considering living in Pearland or Sugarland. Are these good choices?

Also, does anyone have any info on MD Anderson?

I can probably help you. What specific questions do you have?

Specializes in NICU Level III.

Sugar Land is beautiful and there are some big name hospital branches out there. However, it would be a traffic-laden drive from there to the Med Center.

I personally love Pearland, as I grew up there. My husband and I currently live in Friendswood, but are having a home built in Pearland so I will be moving back soon. Sugarland is also a very nice area, but there is too much traffic within the city for me. To me, either city is a great choice though. It's mainly a matter of personal preference and where you plan to work.

Specializes in ICU.

Both are really nice. I currently work at MD Anderson as a student nurse. I can say that if you want to work there you need to apply ASAP. I have friends that are interviewing now, and some who have taken offers. Feel free to ask specific questions. I have lived here for 10 years and I would be happy to help.
