Hello all!
I'm in my last semester of my BSN program. I passed all the courses but I did not pass the exit HESI exam. Well, (BOO) Technically, I didn't pass the exit exam I didn't pass the class. Forget about all my passing tests.
SIGH.
So, for my own happiness I'm moving back to Houston so I can retake a critical care nursing course again or whatever the new school wants me to take to substitute.
My question is what nursing schools would you recommend in Houston?
I know there are a few programs...but I'm not sure if I've got them all down.
There's Houston Baptist University, Prairie View A&M, and UT in the medical center...are there any others I'm leaving out?

Ok question...
Can't you just retake the HESI???
Why change schools?? Most of the time, if you change schools you have to complete a certain number of credits there before you can graduate. IE) you cant have one class left, go to Harvard and take and pass that class and expect to get a degree from Harvard.
Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

You're going to have to take the HESI here, too. I don't know of any school in the Houston area that doesn't require it.
How many times do you get to retake where you are?
Well...nevermind. It looks like I passed it on my final attempt!!!
Thank GOD!
That is one heavy load off my back.

Congrats on passing the test.
Just how hard was the H.E.S.I?
I know here in Houston through Colleman College they have tutoring for certain areas of study.

Not bad at all. About the same difficulty as the NCLEX 3500 program. I ordered the HESI nclex study guide and it helped a ton.
