Hi everyone! I graduated with my BSN and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. Best of luck!

Yes, you're talking about West ED right? I wonder how many applicants were invited/will attend. I think from what they told me you'll be interviewing with a panel incl the ED hiring manager for 15 min.

But if each person has a 15 min slot lets say between 9-3pm (idr all the available time slots)...only 24 people got invited? That can't be right? IDK either way, I am nervous as heck

Actually I'm going for the Willowbrook location for Mother/Baby. I think it's multiple locations and multiple units. I'm nervous too tho ? I had an appointment in the morning but it got canceled? It said bc there were no ICU spots but that's not what I applied for. I was able to make another one in the afternoon but IDK if I should show up to the morning one just in case.

They meant they canceled the women's on accident instead of ICU (bc ICU does not have spots) so people had to re-sign up for slots which I didn't like because some lost their spots & there wasn't any availability

Specializes in New grad.

I got an interview for general pediatrics at Children's MH TMC! I think they're sending out invites separately for each specialty/unit.

Yeah, I saw spots ran out quickly. I noticed quickly that my appointment was canceled so I was able to make another. This should've been handled better.

Has anyone heard back from MH Children's IMU?

Anyone heard back from MH Sugarland?

I have not and I applied back on 1/31. It just says under review! Crossing fingers.

I applied at MH sugar land I was invited to match day on 3/5 for ED. My first choice was ICU.

I also applied at the VA, but all I received was an email stating they received my docs.

Anyone else applied at the VA?

Anybody hear from any MH TMC units? (Not children's)

Sorry just wanted to clarify. You put ICU as your 1st and ED as your 2nd, but MH Sugarland got back to you and scheduled you for match day for your 2nd choice ED?

Yes that's correct. My first choice was ICU and my second was ED. They let me know ICU was not interested so they forward resume to ED.

Oh that is interesting. I didn't think they were getting back to 2nd choices until after the 1st match week was over and they filled the spots before responding to 2nd choices. But glad to hear some campuses are making faster moves. Best of luck to you!

I thought this as well. I think I'd prefer to have my app forwarded if my 1st choice isn't interested as well for first match week

Dang! My first choice was MH Sugarland ED. When did you get the email?
