It's killing me too! I interviewed for heme/onc!

Yes I think just with all the stuff going on right now it will be longer before we hear back but she assured me there is not a hiring freeze and they will still need nurses so that made me feel better ?

That makes so much more sense! I feel like now more than ever there is an increased need for nurses. Thanks so much for reaching out to her. It helps ALL of us. Rooting for us all ❤️ one of my friends also applied to that unit! Maybe you guys will end working together ?

Has anyone else heard anything more about their MD Anderson applications? I sent back my answers to the follow up questions I’d gotten after applying to the leukemia position, but other than that I haven’t heard anything about any of the others. Just curious! I’m reallyyyy hopeful for this one.

I have not heard back either

Memorial Hermann is still sending out match day emails, I just got one!

I got an invite for MH for southeast ER, I will be declining as I already accepted another offer. Good luck to everyone.

Have yall heard back about HCA and the hiring event, and how that will play out

HCA is doing virtual or phone interviews. If you have applied and haven't heard anything reach out to the recruiter. I know they have some spots open due to failing NCLEX. I know....we had to reach out to a recruiter for another hospital where we hadn't heard, there was some disconnect, things got back on track, scored an interview. Touch base with them

Last I heard they had moved it to April 2nd? I hadn’t heard anything after that

I’m a little confused on what you mean by spots opening up due to failing NCLEX as well.. I know HCA has more cohorts than many hospitals. Are you possibly referring to spots for the Jan/feb cohort? A lot of us here have not graduated and taken NCLEX yet so I’m not sure if that applies to us

That's what the recruiter said, spots opened up from some failing NCLEX. Apparently the next residency starts next month, and you're right it wouldn't apply to those still in school, but some on here have graduated/are already licensed or about to be. Sorry for the confusion

It’s all good! I think the ones yet to graduate are the ones that have the hiring event on the 2nd but can never hurt to reach out and as when we get closer to double check!
