It might be that "ortho/silver trauma" is an umbrella term and that CVICU will be interviewing you. I interviewed for the Summer program and there were multiple different units on my interview and you just specify which unit you want in the interview.

Oh okay thank you. That kinda took away the joy of getting interview request for a minute. I don’t like bones ??

Haha yeah I bet that CVICU is under "silver trauma"!

I don't think thats right. CVICU is Cardiovascular ICU. Silver Trauma is Ortho/Trauma for patients aged 60 and older. CVICU is a completely different service line it falls under Heart and Vascular.

Yeah, CVICU has nothing to do with trauma. CVICU is under heart & vascular institute!

I was just saying that might be interviewing together because I had multiple units interviewing me even though I didn’t put the other ones. But I was just thinking out loud, I’m obviously not sure!

Does your application for your first choice say "no longer under consideration"? Or does it still say "application under review"?

It says application received. I got a interview date with my first choice just not the unit I want. I emailed the recruiter.
