Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Published

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

For people waiting to hear from st Luke's, I emailed the recruiter and he said they're still working on it but we should hear back by the end of this week or early next week.

Yes they told me 2 30 minute interviews and then an hour of shadowing.

PICU!

Congratulations everyone who has heard from TCH! Your hard work is paying off. I still have not heard anything. I placed my top choice as oncology with acute care being second. I really, really hope I hear back from then. I am graduating with my ADN, not BSN, so that may hold me back. Thank y'all for keeping us updated!

Has anyone who has applied to Oncology as their first choice heard back yet?

Just a reminder for those who have not found a job yet (especially if you have some experience, even just a couple of months): UT Health Houston, who does not seem to have a residency program, does offer RN I positions that require zero to very minimal experience. They particularly like to hire these positions into Clinic roles, so if you don't want to work bedside and prefer Outpatient with normal M-F 8-5 hours, you should check out their career page!

I heard back from HCA after my interview and got the job!
