Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

Honestly I think they are a bit of a mess right now haha I'm gonna guess they might have to scrap the whole think and start from fresh next week or something

Just wanted to provide another opportunity for those still looking for jobs -

if you are interested in working outpatient (and not having to do bedside, which same haha) there are opportunities to become a Dialysis Nurse in Houston!

If you have some experience (like me) there are dialysis clinics that offer Outpatient RN I positions for RNs with 6-9 months of any RN experience (they would provide all of the training to specialize in dialysis). I applied to a couple of positions two days ago when I saw them and already have 2 interviews lined up.

and if you are a new grad, I know that at least Fresenius Kidney Care (one of the largest Dialysis Clinics in the nation) has a New Grad Residency and I think their applications for Houston might still be open!

Did anyone get an email from HCA saying they are pursuing other candidates or has anyone gotten an interview with HCA

I received the same email and looked at my portal and it's the application that had changed to withdrawed or not hired, I think they are fixing the application errors

Yeah I just got it too! I also think they are just going to fix everything and start over. I didn't even apply to the hospital that they are saying in the email haha

I hope their are fixing it but I doubt it...  they would had said something about it in their emails..  why make it like an enigma and not tell us to reapply ?

I see that HCA reposted some of the residencies in the Houston area. Do you guys plan on reapplying to them all, or just waiting to see what happens with the ones you already submitted?

I already got rejected by one so I'm not sure

all I've heard from TCH is that survey we had to fill out

TCH application don't close till tmr so I'd give them some time to actually reach back out. MD Anderson I have no idea
