Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

Don't lose hope y'all! There are still rounds of interviews being had. I interviewed with St. Luke's TMX for ER on 10/17 and got my offer like 4 days later at 9pm. Don't get discouraged!

I just got an invite to interview with St. Luke's but I can't that day 😭 IDK what to do

I interviewed Friday 10/25 for St Luke's the Woodlands. I was offered an ED position officially  on Tuesday 10/29. I am an internal applicant though.

I just got emailed from MH Pearland saying they are not interested in interviewing me and that my second choice is full that they will keep my application open for any other available openings. Also got emailed from HM medical center saying that they are not interested in hiring me. At least it's an answer FINALLY they took so long so I was expecting that.

If there is anyone else in here like me who has some experience already (6 months), you may have the option to do an RN Fellowship rather than a Residency, just so you know! Some Fellowships out there require at least a year of experience, but there are some that only require 6 months. Just something else to look into if you need it!

Got same from MH pearland. I wander if they even look at applications. I just started home health last week, it's a lot of work.

does it matter what kind of experience we have? I only have home health experience so far, but im interested in this option

From what I'm seeing, they just specify "6 months of nursing experience" so I would personally think as long as you are practicing in any capacity with an RN license it counts. The couple I applied to closed already it seems, but if you are willing to move to Dallas, UT Southwestern is opening their applications on December 9th and only require 6 months!
