Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

Did anyone else get invited to interview for MH Southwest OR? I know they said that they were rescheduling the interviews for the 29th and to be on the lookout for an invite in our email but I haven't received it yet and I'm starting to get nervous haha

Last time for me, I got the interview invite only two days before the scheduled interview day. They sent it to me on a Sunday and the interviews were Tues. I know they have been busy with the EPIC transition in addition to joint commission so maybe it will be another last-minute email sadly

Congrats! Do you mind me asking if you live in Texas as well as what background you have to get into the NICU? I am just curious for the future

yes I live in TX! I went to nursing school in austin but grew up in houston. during nursing school I've been working as a nurse extern/tech on a Mother Baby floor and I think that really helped me because I got lots of experience caring for newborns and interacting with their family

Is anybody else still waiting to hear back from Houston Methodist Willowbrook? I've tried emailing the recruiter/interviewer and calling the unit I've interviewed with with no luck, still haven't gotten a decision either way🤣Interviewed 10/2 with the ED
