Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

If you have not heard back from Memorial Hermann, you will probably not be hearing back. I was told that 95% of all positions are filled and at this point they are just solidifying the last positions with people who have interviewed but have another interview pending or have not yet accepted their offer.

anyone interview with children's MH NICU today and know when we will hear back

My interview was uneventful. It was a few weeks ago, and there were approximately six people on Zoom. They posed three questions: 1. We have seen your resume...do you have anything to add? 2. Can you give us an example of a problem in your work? 3. How do you handle mistakes? The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, however it barely lasted around 20 minutes. I asked a few questions, and it seemed like they were unprepared and more of trying to rush me out. 

I realized the first min of the interview ... after they asked the first question... you know that feeling when someone wasn't interested .... I had to do my best and smile... the  feeling was disheartening during the process. and I was right... they sent me the rejection letter afterwards..   Its like... they give me the  zoom interview out of formality.

oh wow I am truly sorry to hear that... I hope you find something else and to be clear this was not for the CMHH NICU right?

Hey how did the interview go ? Was it a panel, were the questions general or nicu scenarios based

 I literally have not heard anything from anyone and I've applied to every single hospital in Houston and at this point I don't know what to do

Hopefully HCA will be opening up their Houston Nurse Residencies soon, so don't loose hope yet!
