I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for all the Houston applicants! Where is everyone applying and what units? Would love for us to connect throughout the process.

HCA asked me the usual: "tell me about yourself", what made you want to be a nurse", "why you over other applicants?", stuff like that. Do you remember any specifics? 

Did you apply to a specific unit or hospital for HCA?

Yes a few caught me off guard:

Tell us about a time when patient care was unsafe what did you do? 

Tell us an example of a change you implemented in the workplace that improved efficiency - 

I guess those are pretty normal but I just stumbled on those.

@hopefullnewgrad Congratulations! I have an interview with them next week. Did you accept the offer or you’re waiting for other places.

Can you continue to interview if you verbally accept a position? I verbally accepted too and I’m confused if I can continue to interview or not
