Houston Nurse Residency spring 2020

Hi just starting a thread for Houston people looking for new graduate jobs starting in February 2020. Good luck to everyone!!

Yes! I pray so too! And I applied for Med-surg what about you? And no I didn’t get a questionnaire yet

Any updates yet? I applied for L&D. Hopefully we hear back by end of week. I know they usually conduct Match day late October or early November.

Nope, no updates yet. I haven't heard anything today and yeah I pray we get called lol do you know if MD Anderson had a nurse residency program application available?

Hi everyone! Just joining in! Good luck to everyone.

I got an email from TCH and she said they would be putting up apps next week sometime Oct. 7!

I received my questionnaire from MH and submitted that this week but haven't heard anything back yet. I applied for Cardiovascular IMU.

I also applied for Harris Health and haven't heard anything yet.

I also applied to St. Luke's and received a questionnaire that I will be emailing today or tomorrow.

Good luck everyone and keep us updated.

woohoo! I know Harris Health is usually late at getting back.

Which MH did you apply to? I haven’t received a questionnaire but my application for MH - Sugarland is under review so I am hoping it’s just that each hospital moves differently.

Looking forward to a great year ahead!!

I applied at MH medical center and SW. I just logged in and this is what it says:

"First Choice: Med Center - under review

Second Choice: SW - under review

New Grad Residency - no longer under consideration"

So....I guess I'm out? that third line is not promising. Does yours show anything under your choices?

Everyone I know who applied to MH has the same thing! I think as long as one said under review then you're good!

Yeah I think MH-Sugarland is just a little slower because I haven’t heard anything back from them either
