If you could pick to do an L&D Nurse Residency at The Woman's Hospital under HCA or Ben Taub under Harris Health... Which would you pick and why? I'm in a bit of a pickle, and the money difference is not a big deal to me....thanks for the insights

I would choose Ben Taub cos I heard if you can work at Ben Taub, you would probably be able to work anywhere else later, the reason is that you would learn a lot of skills there according to some nurses and I also think it will look good on your resume as well. I heard it's a very busy place though. Even for no reason at all, I would choose Ben Taub. You are so lucky, they haven't called me for an interview. Congrats

If L&D was where I wanted to work I would go with Woman’s Hospital because they specialize in obstetrics so you should get plenty of good experience. However, I don’t know much about their GN program. Good luck!

I interviewed for a ICU position. I called HR this morning and she said that we should hear something this week. They will be making phone calls for offers and sending emails to notify the people who had not been chosen.
