Houston Nurse Residency Fall 2024

Published

Hi! I'm graduating this August and plan on applying to positions in Houston in women's health and pediatrics. I wanted to create a thread so everyone can stay up to date on applications/interviews for the October 2024 Cohorts. Good luck!

To anyone who got an MMH NICU offer. This may be a dumb question. Do you know if this offer is for NICU 4 specifically? I can't find info on if MMH children's has a NICU 2 but I would assume they do?

When I interviewed, they said that only 5% of their babies could actually be held. I'm assuming that there is a level 2. Most hospitals have all levels if they're a level 4. Do you know if we are placed on a certain level or if we float to every level?

I'm not sure that's what I'm trying to figure out too. I don't know how or when it's decided if we're in level 2 or 4. And I don't rly wanna ask the manager and sound ungrateful or something. But will lyk if I do find anything out! Maybe we'll learn more as we go through the process.

Is there only 2 levels? I thought there was 2,3, and 4. IDK I'm not sure about anything in this whole process LOL. Also I know TCH does where you're only hired for a specific level, but I they are specific what level you are hired for. Since this didn't say maybe we're trained in all? IDKKKK

Also I have a question, did you accept it on email or on the memorial hermann workday? Mine still says in interview process.

On email. Mine says the same thing. I assume they'll update it eventually?

There is level 3 too!! That's kind of what I'm thinking too but I guess we shall see LOL. I'm sure we'll get more info as we go through the process.
