House supervisors!

Specialties Management

Im interested in becoming a house supervisor and in the middle of getting my BSN. But Im wondering what other experience I would need? Also, the national average pay for house supervisors is $94,000. Is this accurate?? Thanks:)

Agree with the other poster. This is going to be very location dependent. For example. My first management position was around 75K/year. Now I make 110K/year in a larger metro area. Cost of living...plus some areas just pay really poorly. You can always ask for a position salary range from HR.

you can ask. I did and was told "I'm not privy to that information." But asking never hurts.

That's surprising! The recruiters I have worked with are always open to give salary ranges. We do not give out what we would offer but they will usually give a starting and max salary range. Most facilities have a pretty standard way of calculating wages based on years of experience and education. Thank you for sharing!

It's not BS. I have one part time job (24 hours a week) and 3 Per diem jobs. I work an average of 60 hour weeks. Hourly rates for HS in this area are 55-80/hour

I have no idea what kind of house you could get here for 450k! Maybe a cardboard box! Lol
