24 Hours Later....still Going Crazy

I just don't know what to do with myself. I feel so sorry for my husband and son. They almost starved last night. I don't why this is happening to me. I usually have it together. All I can think of is "265"

Me too!! I can't seem to do anything. I never thought I would be one of those people that sits around stressing about this but that test has me terrified. Good luck lilmama007!

Good luck to us. Are you in a quick result state? I am so ready to just go ahead and go to sleep so that I can wake up and check it. I just don't want to feel like this anymore

I am frozen with fear!!! Just know I failed. AND I will be working at my new job tomorow when the results come in and dont know how I will check. This stinks. :icon_roll

I've already started working as a "new grad RN" I just couldn't face my classmates if I didn't pass. They all KNOW and EXPECT that I will pass. I just don't feel the same. 265 265 265 265 265 265 265 265 running through my mind.:angryfire

Hang in there, it will be ok. 265 is just like any other number. The computer keep on going until it determines whether to pass you or not. The first time I got 265 and was above passing for all but was near passing in a content area so they didn't pass me. The second time around, I got 189 and found out that I failed. I am not going to let this stop me. I am waiting on the Performance Report to see where I messed up and study again. Like many posters stated, they were honor grads etc. This test is not about book smart though, it's just another standardized test. This will not stop me and I will take it again.... Please don't Stress too much, You guys will do well.:specs:

We graduated from Nursing School and we will conquer this test. LilMama, it should be posted in 48hrs if your state is one of the quick results state...... Do something fun and take your mind off the test.

You know it's impossible to take your mind off that test. I tried playing HALO last night but it didn't work. My husband and I are going to play Rock Band shortly but I don't think that will work either. For some reason it seems like Sunday's go by so fast around here but today is just dragging. I've even been grocery shopping at Wal-Mart this morning and it's still early.

You guys will pass the test. Check the results again in the morning and you will see Passed next to it. Don't stress yourself too much. Just remember the number of questions doesn't mean anything. I know people who had 75 and pass as well as failed at that amount. The same goes for 265. Please don't let the idea of 265 make you think that you failed the test. Do something relaxing today and forget the test. I know it is easier said than done. The first time, I was in the same boat as you and lilmama, but the second time, I didn't allow the news to affect me because the first time, I almost had a nervous breakdown seeing I was a straight "A" student in school and was already working as a Graduate RNA. Good thing I was already a LPN, so I just went back to working LPN. It was embarassing but hey such is life. I tried my best and that was all I could have done.

Like I said, we will PASSS this monster test. I plan to take it again in March. You guys passed, I just feel so.

Do you guys know if the 48 hours for quick results includes weekends? If I took my test yesterday (saturday) will I know tomorrow or have to wait until Tuesday....I think I'll loose my mind if I have to wait until Tuesday.
