Hello Everyone,

I am not a nurse. I am a pre-nursing student. I would just like to know do you prefer working an 8 or 12 hour shift? What are the pros/cons of working either shift? I thank you for taking time out to read and respond to my post.

I guess it all depends on the type of work and how many hours you work in a week/pay period.

12s are tiring and nice now, so I wonder if I switched to something like public health or case management one day what it would be like. I don't think I'd like five 8s. But info could do 9s and have a Friday off every other week, or four 10s are be part time, that would be different.
