i think almost hospitals provide training, problem is you have to pass their requirements including exams and interview. I haven't there yet since right now, it's very hard to apply to a hospital and even if you apply, a lot of patience is needed. Think of it that graduates and board passers last june 2007 is "still" waiting ang looking for the right job. If I were you and you are pretty sure that you're going to pass the boards, better apply in advance. hehe!

what kind of trainings are you looking for? trainings like BLS,ACLS,IVT,etc. or the trainings provided by the hospitals?
don't lose hope.I am also in the same situation as yours but I still keep on submitting my applications to hospitals here in manila.
as in working as a nurse even w/o salary. im not hoping to land a job that pays for my services cause i know its hard to find one. its ok even if i pay to work for them. i just need to work w/o contracts.
most of my batchmates work at our college's hospital, but they're still on training, meaning no salary. they will rotate to different areas until there's an available slot for them (until someone resigns).

well... there must be a certification at least... just to prove that you have been working there... can't you sometimes feel that its already a form of exploitation?? they're having our service for free... they must have least provide us with certificates...:w00t:
yah, its a form of exploitation, they know for a fact that most of us need to work just to gain experience. then after the contract or at least 1yr we resign to find jobs abroad. working for them for free and even paying them so that we can have a job, are their ways to get back on us.
jobless RN....
are they not going to provide us with certificates as a proof that we have undergone trainings to them?even if we put in our resumes that we have undergone these trainings but still no certificates then its not done..
