Hello, I'm a 2nd yr nursing student looking for hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that hire new grads with an ADN, and the pay rate. Willing to go as far as the Frisco/Little Elm/McKinney area in Dallas. Any comments or advice is welcomed. Thank you

You'll need to set your sights on more outlying areas such as Texoma Medical Center (Denison), Wise Regional Medical Center (Decatur), Weatherford Regional Medical Center (Weatherford), etc. Yes, you will need to drive far. The new grad employment market in DFW is glutted, and hospitals have their pick of new BSNs.

You should also consider the LTAC hospitals (Kindred, Lifecare, Vibra, Select) and the rehabilitation hospitals (Texas Rehabilitation Hospital, HealthSouth, Baylor Rehab). These post-acute hospitals are generally more willing to hire new nurses.
