There are probably too many good hospitals to name with good reps. If you want the exp, go to the city.

I wouldn't say you need to go to the city for experience. I had a GREAT experience and I LOVED it, at: The hospice Inn at Huntington on LI. It's not like every hospice experience though. It was very nicely decorated, warm, the staff were all upbeat and they had a little meeting where they remembered the ones who had passed on days/weeks prior. It was a very good experience and because of them, I will end up in hospice one day. I also did home care, which I did not like. It's difficult going into someone elses environment and especially if they are heavy smokers, etc.
