Has anyone ever heard of these yet? They are supposed to be I believe Hcg (pregnancy hormone). I had a pt. ask me about them the other day. I have a friend who has been on them a lost alot of weight, but she is not a nurse and couldn't really tell me how they work. I've done a couple searches on the web but can't find anything really. Has anyone tried them, or know someone who did?

There is a weight loss clinic called "Transformations" in Florida (based out of Lake Mary, FL) that uses Hcg injections for losing weight. Their website explains how the hormone injections work - it's www.yweight.cc. I hope it's o.k. to mention a company's name and website on this board, as this is the first comment I've ever posted. I just happened to interview with this group recently and saw your question on the board. Hope this helps!

This tx has actually been around since the 1970s........my own mother tried to get me to go on the 'program' when I was 17 and weighed 130# sopping wet:madface: . It consisted of injections containing the urine of pregnant women and a 500 kcal/day diet. Well, of COURSE you'd lose weight on it---who wouldn't lose weight on 500 calories a day? Not to mention getting nauseated at the mere thought of injecting yourself with pee........:barf01:
Thanks siri and islandgirl those links helped out alot
