Hey! I'm looking into applying soon for the spring 2020 semester and was just curious how the program is? Also if they mostly just take the PAX RN score into consideration and not GPA. What was everyones scores when they applied and how did you study for the PAX?
Just now, Millafurtado said:y'all of course im stressing to the max so I posted on hopkinsville kans and a lot of people said they got in that were waitlisted. Just gonna suck because im gonna be stuck buying everything last minute and rushing around to get things done.
Well you plan on applying for fall if you don’t get in this spring, right? (although with your score I think you’re at the top of the list) you might as well get what you need now just to be ready. That’s just my opinion though.

Hey guys! I know this is an older post, but I’m currently trying to enroll for the RN program at HCC. I cannot get a straight answer from the nursing department to save my life, so I’m trying to reach out here. Does anyone know if I take a CNA course (through a local nursing home in TN) and take the state registry exam, will I still have to take the NAA100 course? From what I’ve read on their admission packet, as long as I’m on a state registry I’m okay...but when I called to confirm they said (and I quote) “Well, you’ll have to take this class to take the exam.” Pleaseee if anyone knows, I’d really appreciate it!!

I’m not really sure. I took mine at a cna school that wasn’t a college and then got on the registry. I believe you just have to provide them with proof that you’re on the registry though. I’d call again and speak with someone different. There two ladies you can speak to, I’m not sure who you spoke with but try calling the other number. And you’re fine I actually didn’t get in last semester because I was waitlisted so I’m going through the whole process again for the fall semester! Is that what you’re applying for?

agreed! I just recently moved here recently so I know absolutely nobody and saw almost nothing about this program that's why I made this post.
