Hello!

I just took my fcca final yest, i am hoping to hear the good news that i am FINALLY CPNE ELIGIBLE! I had to repeat one of the fcca classes so i am more than ready, its been a longgg wait. :) any one else also at this point, hoping to be cpne eligible soon?????

Hey xcrazy, I also had to retake one of them. I'm so scared to take it in fear of failing again. I have to take it by Saturday though. If all goes well we will probably be CPNE eligible soon. I need to get this thing over with. Keep in touch

I was the same way.. i took it yesterday to just get it over with. Im glad i did but now im in suspense til the grades are posted.

Just successfully finished my FCCA finals as well yesterday. We have to wait until the FCCA is *officially* over before we can apply for the CPNE, I've already written the school and asked :). I'm hoping for NY in Feb 2013 but I'm not completely clear on the best way of finding out who has the shortest wait times (even though it consistently appears to be NPAC). Congrats! We are almost there! And good on you for not giving up!

I cant wait to actually apply.. it just doesnt feel real yet lol. its been a long and bumpy road and I cant believe yet that i am here :) the hardcore studying for the long awaited cpne will finally begin!!

I totally understand you ! It was a long haul for me from Lpn to rn. I am feeling you now bc I have just applied to grad school ! It is surreal that this goal is finally Here. I can't believe I am finally ready!

Monday the 29th I believe, or should I say I hope.

Both my tests said I passed, but we shall see.

I have most of my CPNE stuff together, just waiting for the OK to proceed. I am hoping to do it in February. I need to have it done by March or I will have to pay another years tuition.

I am still trying to decide what to do for study.

I am thinking the Excelsior Practice in December and then doing Sherry's online stuff till I get my date and test.

I basically memorized the whole carjack when I studied for the cpne. I voice recorded I important things to rremember from ny notes and would listen time them while driving to and from work. I found mnemonics online for each area of care to remember what to assess. I brought stuff home to practice for skills station and make a wound to pack out of modeling clay.

I didn't spend any money on review classes but I had a lot of clinical experience by then. I hear many people really like them.

I passed my fcca Monday! so excited, I am really hoping they post grades Monday so I can apply for CPNE.
