Hello,
Since the NCSBN is raising the passing standard and revising the exam beginning April 1, 2011, I have decided it is in my best interest to take my exam before the end of March, if at all possible. I am investigating what would be my best strategies as I study for the test. I am devouring Saunders and two other books along with cds. My question is, does anyone think that 5 weeks of intense study is enough to pass the NCLEX-PN? I am ready to commit 5-7 hours daily (5-6 days/week) to this, but the thought of having to take the exam in just 5 weeks slightly terrifies me, since I am nowhere near ready yet! I am just not sure if this goal is even realistic, or if I should just take my time and study at a slower pace and face the tougher exam/higher pass standards in April or May. That option also terrifies me, lol! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
