no hope for nurses without experience??

I finally understand why nursing school recommends nurse tech jobs during the program....

NO ONE hires new grads without any experience...

What am I going to do?? :crying2:

Where do I begin? :sniff:

Oh wow....ya know, I had heard rumors of such a thing (nurses not being able to find jobs, etc), but like many other clueless folk out there, I thought there was a shortage of NURSES...apparently there's a shortage of JOBS. :down: I start my clinicals in July & will be done with my ADN in June '13. I am really concerned that all of those loans/time will be for nothing. Does anyone know if this shortage of jobs is expected to continue throughout the next year?

I hope I can come here & read some success stories. It seems you guys have put in an incredible amount of effort in looking for jobs & I hope hope it pays off. Good luck to you all!!!!
