I am actively looking into Nursing Schools in the Cincinnati Area. I am starting the application process at Hondros and was wondering if anyone had any feedback about their program, good, bad or indifferent. I know its a relatively new program but they have recently receieved their final approval so Im assuming they have worked out the kinks that were reported in blogs posted early last year.
I would appreciate any feedback you may have.
Thank you!!
flsunshiney, I picked labs a/aa. Was wanting those Thursdays and Fridays off for the first 5 weeks. Were you at the financial aid workshop today? I'm so glad to have it all done and out of the way. Just have to get the Liability Insurance, which I'll do this weekend. Are you planning on going through the RN program as well?
Yes, I was there..I'm glad she made it so easy for us. I just got the ok for an April start so I kind of got the crappy end of the scheduling stick and most things were full. Thursdays and Fridays off sounds great!
The Liability Insurance was easy...5 minutes online and $29.50.
I am going to finish the lpn program and go back to work...but I would like to do the rn eventually.
She made it soooo easy! I was the one who came in at 1130am. Kind of silly. I just did the first part a couple of weeks ago. It was suggested that I do so. And then I had to go back today to finish up. I didn't realize you could set the date for the insurance. Found that one out today. I was only planning on doing the LPN portion, but figured I might as well keep going. We'll see what happens. I just hope I can find a way to manage time; I have 4 kids. I've been trying to keep them in a routine, and giving them extra chores (not that they had any to begin with). It's going pretty well. I just can't wait to get started! Good luck to you!
flsunshiney, how long did it take for you to get a policy through nso for Liability Insurance once you applied?
HI Angela,
I havent heard from you in awhile so I thought I would ask how school was going?
I just fininshed my CPR class the other night. Besides my Liability Insurance, that was the last thing I had to do for admissions. Im getting really excited and have started my countdown to when I get to give notice at work!!
Hope all is well. Have a great weekend!

Did you check to make sure they coincide? Like Lab A with Lab AA? Etc.? At least that's how I figured it worked, and I didn't run into any problems. Yes, I am nervous as well. I've read some posts that kind of scared me. It's all went so quickly for me. But definitely ready for it! At least I think! lol
