My agency is going from Epic to homecare homebase charting. I spend a lot of time on charts after work. Will hchb really increase productivity and decrease time spent charting?

My employer transitioned from McKesson to Homecare Homebase
After the learning curve, Homecare Homebase does help field staff slightly improve productivity. However, it has heavy back office user workflow requirements decreasing authorization dept, scheduling, Clinical Manager and Coder/UR, QI efficiency; if back office fails to review + pass through their workflow, RN's were not able to view patient data. As a large agency with 750+ admissions per week along with 1000's scheduled visits, Clinical Managers often had 300-400 staff notes per day to review. As coder/UR, if staff completed admission after 5PM, and I did not review + approve admission same night, next day visit unable to occur. Took my agency staff 1 year to get smooth workflow.

P.S: Just found out parent corporation is transitioning all HH agencies to EPIC by 2021.
?
Oh yikes. I also work for a large agency with high volumes. I am so concerned this is a step backwards. We also wont have access anymore to hospital records which is a big concern as well.
