I have posted in other nursing clubs trying to find an agency that does home health travel in the midwest states on a regular basis/enough to be considered" working steady".
If any of you could ask your current recruiters if they do that type of work that would be great. No one seems to accept on the west coast. Thanks,

To be honest, I have never seen travel jobs for Home Health nurses. You may be able to sign up with a couple of different agencies in the area where you wish to go and get per diem work. But you will find problems trying to find an actual travel company that will provide all of the extra travel perks. Home Health is billed and paid differently than hospital work, or something similar.
Thanks for your reply. Cross Country always has home health but seldom if ever in the midwest. I applied at 6 different agencies (no small feat LOL) and nothing. I have done HH since 91 and almost one year ago I took a full time job in Disease Management still doing some HH.

Renerian:
I just got a recruitment call from NurseFinders in Denver (I beleive the area is Cherry Creek); they were wanting RN's for California and it did mention Home Health as well for travel assignments. I hope that helps.
Thanks so much!
