my supvr. goes over our visits for the month with us. she actually gets the reports of our weekly visits made and she asks us to compare it with our daily visit vouchers. they want our productivity to be at least 5 visits daily or 25 weekly.

ours are done weekly....we designed a form to fill in visits, admissions ect....We have several offices, and its something they needed to do for a long time as some offices have fulltime r.n.'s on salary doing only 2 visits a day! This will not keep a business open for long. We like around 5 a day, 6 if the patients are near each other. Admits, p hospitals, recerts and sicks are counted as 2.

4 hours worth of visits per day is considered an 8 hr day when you factor in charting and traveling. Routine visits count as 1 hour. Admits, DC's, Recerts, Resumps, count as 2 hour visits. Realistically routine visits take me 30-45 min, and eval visits 30-90 mins. Charting is usually 4+ hours.
