Going into HH as a new grad, LVN or RN, is a big mistake. You have to excellent assessment skills with experience to know when something just isn't quite right - even when everything looks fine. HH nurses are on their own, they must make split second decisions and work without backup readily available. A new grad going into HH is jeopardizing their patiens as well as their license.
