I am needing info on any home health agencies in the Arlington, Forth Worth area. I've been an LVN for the past 7 yrs and have worked in surgery, pediatrics and urgent care over my time but never HH. I am seriously considering this as my next field but do not have an idea of where to start or what company is any better than the other....anybody have some suggestions or referrals would be greatly appreciated. I am getting ready to deliver my 2nd baby in a couple weeks so I have some time on my hands to research this.....anybody that works HH that could talk to me about what is involved would be great too!! I am wanting to do this PT also....if that is even an option. Again I live in South Arlington so am looking for something down this way or Fort Worth area.
Thanks
do you by chance know where odyssey is located?
well yes i remember talking with you. i have applied to the new fast track program at tcc because i failed algebra and they would not let me start the nursing program at tarleton state. i had a baby 2 weeks ago so i have not been working but when i did it was for maxim. i worked about 2 days a week at the local nursing home , no big deal. i really like it. i can work when i want and not have any responsibility to the facility except doing my job and going home....maybe you should try odyssey hospice i know they are looking for prn lvn's for 12 hour private duty cases. let me know if i can help....
i think they have several offices but the one i know for sure is in ft worth. they have a web site and i think you can send your application in via internet...don't quote me on that though...if you cant find the number i can get it for you...

Thanks for the advice and congrats on the new baby...I'm getting ready to deliver my 2nd one any day now. I am not looking to work 12 hrs shifts....with 2 kids that just is not possible. I really thought I could work prn at a HH agency 2 to 3 days a week taking maybe 5 - 8 clients a day but maybe I have no idea how HH works...I will continue to research this.
