Nurses LPN/LVN

anyone know of any home care agencies in delaware county or philadelphia county (pennsylvania) that hire new nurses???????

Look for those listed in the yellow pages or do an internet search and make a call to them to ask. Or, you can take your employment documents, and visit in person, prepared to interview. If they are hiring new nurses, you will probably get hired on the spot. Or at least get an appointment to come back. If you go in person, you may be able to win them over with your enthusiasm. Good luck.

When I want to work for a home health agency, I go in person with my employment papers and usually I get hired immediately or get an appointment to come back and interview. It is harder to tell you no in person than over the phone. Some agencies will hire a new nurse and give that person a thorough orientation and it works out. Best for extended care cases where you would be seeing the same client each day for an entire shift. New grads can be trained to work on some of these cases. Just a matter of being trained "to the case".
