anyone else see this ? looks like washington is the place to be... 26 WEEKS VACATION !!! 180-190k thats amazing

BTW I found not to trust anything on Gaswork anymore....those numbers stated seem to be complete teasers to get you to talk to the groups. We went on some trips to promising locations with what we thought were reasonable offers and it turns out once you have the actual contract on the table none of the figures match what it is advertised....just my observation.

Quite frustrating too.

My malpractice premiums for 2006 are over $12000 per year. This is for the second year of a claims made policy through AANA Insurance, Inc. In the claims made policies, the rates go up every year for five years. When you leave the claims made policy, by retirement or getting a position that has paid insurance, you must pay a "tail" to cover any claims made during the insurance period. is my biggest single overhead item, so I needed to adjust my fees upward to cover it. By the way, I have never been sued and never had a claim made against me. The people who have been sued, whether or not there were claims paid, have a difficult time getting insurance.

Yoga CRNA

Nitecap:

deepz is right. The rates you are quoting are extremely high. if you search tha AANA website you can find the average cost for CRNA insurance in each state. From what I remember the higher end states were in the range of $5000.

Right, I have never paid more than 10K.

There is also disabilty, health ins, medicare tax, CEU fees, and CRNA and nursing license fees to pay.
