I am wondering the same thing! I cant find much about the generic BSN, and I'm wondering how it compares to Samuel Meritt ABSN and SFSU.

The counselor told me that it’s a 4 semester program. So I applied for the upcoming cycle, which starts in Summer 2021. Therefore, it’ll be Summer 2021, fall 21, Spring 22, and Summer 22. So I’ll graduate fall 2022. The only thing is that they require an extensive list of prerequisites for entry (16 prerequisites).

Do you have any of the pre-reqs in progress right now? I am considering applying but their website doesn't offer that much information. I don't know how competitive their program is, how many applicants per cohort, if they have a good reputation, etc.

I don’t know about you guys but I have not had a good experience with holy names. First they don’t offer much information on their website so you have to track down a counselor in order to get your questions answered. Then when I got ahold of this counselor she kept telling me she’d get back to me and never did. I sent her multiple emails with questions and she responded saying she’s working on the responses but in the end never writes back. It’s incredibly frustrating. For this reason I do not recommend them at all. They seem disorganized and not wanting to actually get new students through the door. If they did, they would be jumping to answer my questions, give me advice, or direct me to someone else that can help.

If any of you were accepted, could you tell me what your stats are? How many students are accepted into the cohort?

I also haven't had a great experience with Holy Names. I attended an information meeting a couple months ago. The admissions counselor gave use his email to send him our transcripts to review. He also said he would take us on a tour of the campus if we reached out to him. He never responded to my transcript submission or any of my other emails. It has been two months and not a single response. It is a shame because I was really excited about the potential to learn in Oakland, where I live, but judging by the vague website and less than responsive staff, I think it may not be a good program.
