Is anybody a current HNH nursing student? I received my packet of information the other day because I will be starting in August 2011. I just wanted to know what the schedule of classes are like the first semester. Also, how do you like it so far?

Are the scores of the TEAS the only thing they take into consideration?? does anyone know...I took the test but didn't do so well in the math and science section

Hello,

I'm not sure but I think they take everything into considerarion. I'd compare your scores to what others applying to the program got and see where you rank. I took the test in March and the averages for science weren't so good.

Hello.

Congratulations on your acceptance. I had my interview almost a month ago and I still haven't heard anything. I have read on some of these blogs that sometimes the acceptance is in the summer very close to the start of the semester. Is this true? Should I be concerned? Do you think it would be helpful to call?

Thank you! :) I don't think it would hurt to call. They will ask you when you took the test and when your interview was. I've heard it's a very good sign, if you had an interview. When did you take your test? I took mine in March.

Thanks for your reply. I took the TEAS last year. When they called for an interview I asked them to hold my application for a year because my husband was considering a job offer in Chicago. If he had taken it, my kids and I would have stayed in NJ because they are in school and the real estate market etc. Also its only an hour flight. But the adjustment in our home plus a nursing program would have been a bad combination.

I wonder if others are getting their responses already what the hold up is. I am a little worried. I already signed up to take micro in the fall at BCC. If I get in to HNH I can always drop it and get a full refund.

What was the lapse in time between your interview and your acceptance letter?
